Data Protection Notice
To participate in the event and matchmaking sessions of “6th ARE Energy Access Investment Forum’’ event on the 17th, 18th and 19th of March 2021, participants need to register a profile on the event platform hosted on b2match. The data shared in the participant profile will be processed by ARE, GET.invest (implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH), CEFE International GmbH and CONOSCOPE GmbH (two organisations under contract with GET.invest to help implement the event).
The aforementioned organisations will manage your data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union. The information you are asked to complete is necessary to organise the event you will be attending, to confirm your registration by e-mail, to create your profile with which you can be chosen and choose to engage in matchmaking sessions with other participants, and to allow you to modify your registration. Without a registered profile, it is not possible to participate in the matchmaking sessions. Your published profile on the b2match platform can only be seen by other participants who have been invited to the event and have accepted to publish their profile as well. Contact details, i.e. your phone number and e-mail address, will not be accessible if you don’t decide to make them visible. After the event, your data will be processed to conduct post-evaluation surveys by e-mail or phone call, and to obtain general analytics about events implemented by ARE, GOGLA, SolarPower Europe and GET.invest. By registering your profile, you consent to the processing of your personal data for the purpose described herein.
ARE, GOGLA and SolarPower Europe retain a list of participants of its 6th ARE Energy Access Investment Forum’’ event in order to facilitate future invitations. Finally, to find out more about SolarPower Europe’s privacy policy, please click here. If you want to delete or change your data, please get in touch with ARE (are@ruralelec.org). GET.invest, CEFE GmbH and CONOSCOPE GmbH will store your data until 30 September 2021 for post-evaluation purposes and anonymise it afterwards. You can obtain written communication of your data processed in the context of the 6th ARE Energy Access Investment Forum’’, rectification, restriction of processing, erasure, and where appropriate, portability of your data by emailing to info@get-invest.eu.

Note to the participants registered before February 2021: Kindly note that there has been an update in the data policy and you will now benefit from an even stronger protection of your personal data (see above). Both your profile and the information you entered on the event website will remain the same, which means that you won’t be required to register again nor update any data on your side.
We are also happy to announce that the platform will remain accessible for two more years. You can therefore still access the platform to seek further potential business partners and communicate with them.
